Aircraft Spirals Uncontrollably into Palm Trees at Frequented Southern California Beach
An aircraft hovering above a well-attended coastal shoreline suddenly commenced twirling out of control, ultimately dropping height and smashing into a line of palm trees as beachgoers observed.
Recordings shared online show the aircraft beginning to twirl near the shoreline then plunging near the edge of the shore, where it gets stuck between palm trees and a staircase near the shoreline route.
Emergency Response Update
Emergency responders said five persons were transported to a medical facility involving a pair who were in the chopper and were “extracted safely from the crash site” subsequent to the incident on that day.
Three individuals on the street were injured. Specifics on their injuries were still under review.
The reason for the accident was not yet disclosed.
