NFL Roundup: Denver Mount Fourth-Quarter Comeback Against Eagles, Ravens Endure Record Home-field Loss

Denver Broncos 21–17 Philadelphia Eagles

Bo Nix connected with a short scoring throw and the running back contributed a two-yard ground touchdown in the fourth quarter as the Broncos erased a 14-point deficit to hand the Philadelphia Eagles their first loss of the season. The Broncos batted down Jalen Hurts' last-gasp attempt on the contest's last snap to hand the Super Bowl champions to just their second defeat in their last 22 games. The Broncos (three wins and two losses) caught a huge break in their comeback when the Philadelphia had a late fourth-down conversion nullified on a formation infraction whistled against running back Saquon Barkley.

Houston Texans 44–10 Baltimore Ravens

Houston's quarterback passed for 244 yards and four touchdowns, and the Texans (2-3) strolled to a decisive victory over a depleted Baltimore team, equaling both the biggest away victory in the franchise's record books and the most lopsided home loss in Ravens' history. Baltimore (1-4) were missing two-time MVP quarterback Lamar Jackson, and that was far from their sole issue. Defensive standouts Kyle Hamilton, Roquan Smith and Marlon Humphrey all missed the game, and the Baltimore already were weakened on defense because of a neck problem that concluded the defensive lineman's season. Baltimore were also without All-Pro fullback Patrick Ricard and offensive lineman Stanley.

Colts Rout Raiders in One-Sided Affair

Indianapolis' running back scored three touchdowns and a two-point conversion, and the quarterback threw two touchdown passes as the Colts overwhelmed the Raiders. This decisive advantage was Indy's largest since 2013. Jones completed 20 of 29 for 212 yards and improved to 4-1 as a starter this year, exceeding his total wins over the past two seasons with the Giants. The running back carried 17 times for 66 rushing yards and grabbed three receptions for 20 receiving yards. The Colts turned a blocked punt, two interceptions and a turnover on downs into TDs. Las Vegas fell to 4-1.

Cowboys Soar Past Jets in High-Scoring Game

Dallas' quarterback passed for four touchdown passes, guiding the Dallas Cowboys to a comfortable win over the Jets. Dallas scored on two 90-yard drives in the second period, despite being without key linemen on the blocking unit. Javonte Williams ran for 135 yards and a score and also caught a TD pass. Dallas, now 2-2-1, rebounded from a high-scoring draw against Green Bay last Sunday. The Jets remain winless at zero wins and five losses in Aaron Glenn's inaugural year as the leader.

Vikings Edge Browns in London Thriller

Vikings receiver Jordan Addison caught a short scoring reception from the quarterback with under half a minute remaining to give the Vikings victory over the Cleveland Browns at the UK venue. This methodical march gave the Vikings (three wins and two losses) a crucial victory on their overseas journey, which started with a narrow defeat to the Pittsburgh in Ireland last week. This also marred Dillon Gabriel's debut as starter, as the Cleveland first-year player positioned his squad (one win and four losses) in contention by passing for two scores. Fellow rookie Judkins gained 110 yards on 23 attempts. The quarterback shook off a shoulder injury that temporarily sent him to the locker room and led two touchdown marches in the latter half.

Panthers Stage Epic Comeback Against Dolphins

Carolina's quarterback threw for two scores and the running back rushed for 206 yards and a score as the Panthers rallied past the Miami Dolphins in their home stadium. The quarterback's quick throw to rookie tight end Mitchell Evans with 1:59 to play gave the Carolina (two wins and three losses) the decisive advantage as they equaled the largest comeback to win a game in team history by overcoming a large deficit. The QB had a horrific first quarter, but he finished 19-for-30 passing for 198 yards with one pick. The backup, filling in for injured Chuba Hubbard, did his work on the ground on 23 attempts, coming up four yards shy of the single-game franchise rushing record. Miami's Tua Tagovailoa threw 27 passes out of 36 for 256 yards with three scores and receiver Waddle accumulated 110 yards through the air on six receptions and scored a touchdown, but the Miami (one win and four losses) dropped to 0-3 in road games.

New York Giants 14–26 New Orleans Saints

New Orleans' quarterback threw an 87-yard touchdown to receiver Shaheed, safety Jordan Howden scooped up a loose ball 86 yards for a touchdown, and New Orleans beat the turnover-prone New York Giants for the New Orleans' first victory under rookie coach Kellen Moore. The QB earned his first victory in 11 career starts, passing for 225 passing yards without a turnover. Giants rookie QB Dart, who secured his first career start last Sunday, passed for 202 yards and two scores, but also committed errors three times. New York gave up possession five times in all, none more costly than when Bryan Bresee forced a fumble from running back Cam Skattebo, resulting in Howden's TD. Both teams are one win and four losses.
